About Linda — Animal Behaviour Consultant

Animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been fortunate to build a lifelong career working with them. My journey began as a teenager running a feral cat rescue, where I first developed an understanding of feline behaviour. I later worked in grooming, coordinated low-cost sterilisations for disadvantaged communities, and moved into orthopaedic veterinary nursing—supporting rehabilitation patients and working hands-on in one of Cape Town’s first orthopaedic rehab clinics.

These experiences sparked my interest in behaviour, leading me to qualify through COAPE. My studies included neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, behavioural pharmacology, and learning theory, and I’ve continued to learn alongside respected COAPE and Thinking Pets professionals.

Today, I specialize in fear-free, evidence-based behaviour support for dogs and cats—helping families understand their pets and create calmer, happier homes.
